2007 Canadian International Air Show

Date of Release: Aug 30, 2007

The Canadian International Air Show will be taking place at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) at the following times:

Friday, August 31            10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (practice session)
Saturday, September 1   1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Sunday, September 2     1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Monday, September 3     1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Many of the air show aircraft will be operating from Toronto Pearson International Airport. Residents in the airport vicinity may notice these aircraft utilizing different runways other than those used for regular aircraft operations at Toronto Pearson between August 30 and September 5.

Arrival and departure procedures of military aircraft participating in the air show may not follow typical flight patterns of regular aircraft operations at Toronto Pearson. In addition, some departure flight paths for regular Toronto Pearson aircraft traffic may be revised during the air show hours to accommodate aircraft operations with the restricted airspace in the CNE area.

For noise complaints related to air show aircraft operating close to the CNE, please contact the Canadian International Air Show office at (416) 263-3650.

Noise complaints related to air show aircraft in the vicinity of Toronto Pearson can be registered with the GTAA Noise Management Office at (416) 247-7682 or through the GTAA website.
