On Saturday, June 13, 2009, the GTAA is hosting its second annual Runway Run for charity. You’re invited to come out and join us for a run or walk along the airport’s most southerly runway, Runway 06R-24L. Just like last year, the runway will be closed for the event, to give you an opportunity to jog or walk alongside other active runways and at the same time, raise money for a great cause.

The GTAA’s goal is to raise $100,000 for The Credit Valley Hospital Foundation’s Lifetime of Care $45 million campaign to support the hospital’s current expansion and beds fundraising drive. The expansion will result in 270,000 square feet of new space for regional maternal child care, complex continuing care, palliative care, and regional genetics and provide enhanced hospital services including more beds.

Your generous support is essential. With the help of our community, Credit Valley can expand its facilities and provide a lifetime of care to patients.

For a second year, the GTAA has partnered with the Running Room for assistance with race support and registration. Sign up as a team with up to 10 colleagues, friends and family, or come out on your own.
