With the summer season officially underway, millions of people are packing their bags and preparing to travel through Toronto Pearson to their vacation destination.
To help get travellers through the security process in a fast and hassle-free manner, the Greater Toronto Airports Authority and the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority are actively reminding travellers through the media to pack properly to help avoid unnecessary delays and keep them moving. Over the next two months, more than five million people will travel through Toronto Pearson. On average, the airport sees close to 86,000 passengers per day with 1,200 aircraft using the runways. During the summer months, this number can rise to 95,000 or 100,000 passengers per day.
