On Friday, June 15th, Team GTAA participated in the Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life in Milton, Ontario. The eight member team from Corporate Affairs, Marketing and Business Development departments raised $1,400 for the cause.

The GTAA made a financial contribution to the team and provided shirts for the occasion.

Proceeds from the Relay for Life go towards funding cancer research, community support programs for those affected by cancer and for information services.

According to Trish Krale, captain of the Relay team, “this was a fantastic event to be involved with and it was humbling to be surrounded by so many other people who had been affected by cancer.”

Team GTAA walked in memory of Connie Turner, who was the GTAA’s Director of Marketing and Communications.

The GTAA is proud to be involved with community events such as the Relay for Life.
