Note: The 5K race will be chip timed, and times are based on bib number. Please do not switch bibs numbers with another runner. Where: Square One Running Room, 55 Square One Drive, Mississauga [map] When: Wednesday, June 10 Thursday, June 11 Friday, June 12 What Time: 10:30 a.m.–9 p.m. You may have someone else pick up your race kit IF they have a printout of your registration e-mail confirmation AND written confirmation that you have approved the pickup. If you are part of a team, you may pick up race kits for your team members if you have the team’s e-mail confirmation and written confirmation from each team member. Any race kits not picked up from the Running Room will be made available on race day at the Welcome Centre (where you enter the race course). Event Schedule Welcome Centre opens – 7 a.m. Opening Ceremonies – 8:10 a.m. Walk to race course – 8:30 a.m. 5K Run – 9 a.m. 2K Walk – 9:10 a.m. Award Ceremonies – 10:30 a.m. Teams This year, you can sign up in teams of up to 10 people. We challenge you to register a team of colleagues, friends and family members, and have some fun! Children This is a great family event! Bring your children out to the runway for a fabulous day of family fun. Children under the age of 2 are invited to join us free of cost. Children over 2 are asked to register through the regular online system. The more money we raise, the more we can give as donation to the hospital. Strollers are permitted on the runway. [map] Public transit routes: TTC Bus 112C West Mall (bus stop: Renforth at Convair) Mississauga Transit Bus 7 Airport (bus stop: Renforth at Convair) Timing for the 5K Run Participants of the 5K Run will use chip timing. Chips will be distributed in the registration area on race day, and must be returned at the finish line. Please ensure that 5K runners use assigned bibs. Course Restrictions For safety reasons, course access is limited to registered runners and walkers. Spectators are not permitted. Only necessary personal belongings will be permitted on the course, as litter is extremely hazardous to aircraft operations Roller blades, bicycles and pets are not permitted on the runway Smoking is prohibited.
