Toronto Pearson Runway Run 2009

The GTAA's second annual Toronto Pearson Runway Run was a great success!

On Saturday, June 13, 2009, Toronto Pearson opened its Runway 06R-24L to two thousand members of the general public and airport community. Walking or running side-by-side with jets is an experience to remember. Thank you for participating!!!

The Credit Valley Hospital Foundation

Thank you for all of your donations! Thanks to you, we reached our goal of $100,000 to support The Credit Valley Hospital.

All proceeds from the Runway Run 2009 were donated to The Credit Valley Hospital Foundation, which serves a population of more than one million people in the areas of Peel and Halton – including passengers travelling through Toronto Pearson International Airport.

The GTAA’s goal was to raise $100,000 for The Credit Valley Hospital Foundation’s Lifetime of Care $45 million campaign to support the hospital’s current expansion and beds fundraising drive. The expansion will result in 270,000 square feet of new space for regional maternal child care, complex continuing care, palliative care, and regional genetics and provide enhanced hospital services including more beds.

Your generous support is essential. With the help of our community, Credit Valley will be there to provide a lifetime of care to patients.
