Responsibility is a weighty word. It implies obligation. Duty.

Here at the GTAA, the responsibilities we have to our community are opportunities that we enjoy. Our customers, employees, neighbours and the larger world in which we coexist are all stakeholders in the choices we make. We are dedicated to being good while doing good work: good for the communities we serve, good for the environment and good for the economy that depends on us.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is the approach a company takes in making decisions. It’s about being considerate. We consider every action the GTAA takes, and every behaviour it employs. We continually ask ourselves: What are the greater implications of our work? How can we do our work better while benefiting these communities?

CSR is the responsibility of a corporation to do what’s right, and the desire of an individual to find delight and satisfaction in a day’s work.
